ABOUT ME
I was born on November 26th in 1988. I started skiing when I was 2 years old and it is still one of the most important things in my life. After I quit alpine skiing I started at the University in Switzerland and at the same time, I started competing in skicross. I finished my education in July in 2018 and now I’m working as a structural engineer while also competing and trying to do my best in skicross.

  • What MOMENT do you ski for?

Well the most important thing I ski for is the moment when you stand on the top of the hill and your body and mind know exactly what is going to happen when you hit the run. Skiing gives me the feeling of freedom and it is the most fun thing.

MORE

  • How do you recharge your batteries for the next challenge?

I recharge my batteries by getting together with my girlfriend and friends. But after a few days I know that I have to go to the hill for some runs.

  • How do you conquer difficult situations?

When I’m in a difficult situation in skiing, I try to analyze it and then I make a plan to handle it.

  • What do you do when you aren’t skiing?

When I’m not working, I love to ride motorcycles. It doesn’t matter if it’s on the street, a track or offroad. Motorcycles are a little passion of mine.

  • What strategy do you use to overcome pressure and stress for optimum performance?

To be honest I don’t feel pressure and stress from the outside. The only person who is stressing me is myself. And when this happens, I sit down and think about the beautiful things of skiing and nature. Then my stress level is going down.
